Where Is It?

The duration datatype block is located in the Data Types drawer of the Blawx toolbox.

What Does It Do?

The duration datatype block is used to indicate that an attribute has values that are durations.

Technical Details

The duration datatype block is a data type, and can only be used in blocks that are expecting a data type, which is usually only a new attribute block.

Tips

The use of durations including year and month values is not recommended, as they tend to behave in unpredictable ways, given that months and years are not of a consistent duration.
